Readjust your watch on the plane. After sitting on a plane for 14 hours, and
looking at your watch about 56 times, you’ll really begin to believe it’s only 3 p.m. The airlines can help with
this. One of my pet peeves is that airlines don’t serve meals according to the destination time. I don’t have
a problem eating scrambled eggs at 6:00 p.m. At least it’s a meal. Try
to arrive at your destination at around 5 p.m. I usually have a light dinner and try to go to bed normal time.
Travel tires me, so by the time I eat and unpack, I’m ready. Sleep
with the curtains open. It’s best to wake to natural light. I think the light tricks your mind to think
it’s time to wake up even if your body still thinks it’s 3 a.m. This is a hard rule to keep in big cities when
streetlights provide light all night.
